Day 5  - July 3 : Nyalam to Saga (235 kms, 7-8 hrs drive)

After breakfast, we continued our journey north, visited Milarepa Caves on the way, climbed up to LaLung La Pass (5124m, 16,811 ft) and then as we descended headed west towards Saga. Though it is a very bumpy and difficult drive, the spectacular views of the Himalayan mountains, esp. Mt. Shishipangma(8012m) and the beautiful Paiku-Tso Lake, made up for the uncomfortable drive. We crossed Bramhaputra river and reached Saga (14,435 ft) by early evening. We had dinner and stayed overnight at hotel.
